In some browsers, you can simply click on the link and the file will automatically be saved to your hard disc. It will have a name like SCCPrac1.pdf. All the file names start with SCC (for Salters Chemistry Club) so you can do a search of your hard drive for 'SCC' to find the downloaded file.

However, if this does not work or if you want to save the file to a specified folder on your hard disk, then do this:

Windows: Right click on the link        Mac: Click and hold on the link

You will get a pop up menu. One of the options will be something like "Save link to disk".

Choose this option and use the save dialogue box as you would to save any file.
